Our Facility
R.I.F.L. is fully equipped from the ground up, from the industry’s best rubber flooring, to our sound systems, and equipment.
Downstairs we have created a functional space with all ROGUE equipment to host our CrossFit and HIIT. Upstairs we have a brand new cycle studio for our spin and sweat classes equipped with Keiser spin bikes. In addition, we have a yoga studio with blankets, blocks, and straps.
Being located on the beautiful Outer Banks, we love outdoor classes. We have an outdoor rig and turf so you can enjoy the beautiful weather while you workout.
Our Story

BANE 2006 – 2020
Always by our side and up for anything we wanted to do, Bane was the definition of “Man’s Best Friend.” He accompanied us every morning to our early workouts, bouncing between chasing critters to checking on us to see if we had survived.
He loved CrossFit, boat rides, tractor rides, truck rides, his fellow Labradors, and most of all, chasing cats. We loved him, and he loved us back. To us, he was “The Man,” and the one dog who was always welcomed everywhere.
It was his spirit that inspired us to build Roanoke Island Fitness “Lab,” and his positive attitude lives on in all who train here.
Our Mission
As a premier CrossFit gym on the Outer Banks, we aim to provide people of all ages and fitness levels with effective and functional fitness options. Longevity and overall wellness is the goal! Our robust schedule is designed specifically to increase your overall strength, cardiovascular fitness, function and mobility.
Our Staff
When selecting our trainers, our goal was to create a team of instructive, engaging, and encouraging individuals within a variety of fitness disciplines. We have assembled a group of people who have a passion for fitness and the certifications, education, and experience to make them some of the best in the industry. Enthusiasm and positivity are critical parts of a regular fitness routine, and that can only come from motivated and encouraging trainers.
